Baking soda for whitening your teeth

Once in a while brush your teeth with baking soda, it makes your teeth at least 2 shades whiter. And this way you don't have to pay for any whitening kit as baking soda is very cheap. It really works very well.
However, if you have bridges or crowns, then this would not work.
