Recipe: Butter cake
Fast and easy!Dough:
4 cups flour
2 cups buttermilk
1 ½ cups sugar
3 eggs
1 ½ packages baking soda
Mix everything in a bowl together
Covering:
1 cup sugar
300g hashed almonds
125g butter
Spread the dough in a buttered baking pan. Cover the dough evenly with the sugar, hashed almonds and butter flakes.
Bake the cake with 200°C for ca. 20 minutes (maybe less, the cake should not be too brown).
After baking:
Pour 500ml cream over cake. Can be more or less cream. Depends how much cream the cake absorbs. But it shouldn’t be too pulpy.
