Clean make-up spots in clothes with carpet cleaner

The make-up spots in clothes, towels etc. from my daughter drive me bananas and they never came out in a regular wash. Now I found the solution. I am spraying some carpet cleaner on the make-up spots and then put it in the washing machine. Everything comes out clean again.
