Cleaning your blinds

Most of us all have to do this eventually, cleaning the blinds in our homes which is quite a chore. Especially the kitchen blinds need more attention and need to be cleaned more often. So in order to not get them greasy too quickly I do clean them once a week, I just go over with the vacuum cleaner which really works well and if there is an extra spot which the vacuum cleaners does not get out, then I just use some glass cleaner and wipe over it. It really saves you a lot of time and effort if you vacuum your blinds once a week, then they never will get very dirty. However, if you don't, then another way is to take all blinds off and soak it in the bathtub in warm water and some general household cleaner. It's a lot more work but also does the job nicely.
