German Christmas Stollen - real easy

Ingredients for 2 small German Stollen:

2 cups of flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 small packages of dry yeast
slivered almonds
raisins
1/4 cup of lukewarm milk
1 pinch of salt
1 little bit of almond extract
some nutmeg
Cardamon

Put flour, yest, sugar and lukewarm milk together, add butter, salt, almond extract, nutmeg, cardamon and mix it all together in a mixer. Add slivered almonds and raisins to your liking. Leave dough in bowl, cover with a towel and let it stand in a warm place to rise.
Once risen half way, roll out the dough, cut in two pieces and fold as shown on picture. Leave on the cookie sheet again for a bit of rising (don't worry if it does not rise anymore though). Preheat oven to 350 and then bake for about 30 minutes. These are really easy to make and taste delicious.
After baked sift icing sugar over them.
