How to keep carrots fresh longer in the fridge

When you buy carrots in the plastic bag, take them out of the bag right away when you get home and put them in a wet dish clothes and put in the veggie drawer in the fridge. Make sure that every few days you wet the dish cloth. This way the carrots stay fresh for at least 2 weeks.
