Ice free windshield inside the car

The cold nights are here, and if you park your car outside you have enough to do in the morning to scrape your outside windshield in the morning. Often the inside windshield is also foggy as the humidity was too high over night.

In the evening I put a newspaper on my dash inside which is damp in the morning and the inside windshield is not foggy or iced up.

The newspaper soaks up the humidity, just like when you get the newspaper on your porch in the mornings which will also be damp, it works the same way in the car. Try it out and you'll see.
