Losing weight made easy - a lifestyle change you can live with
Well, a few of us probably put some extra pounds on over the Christmas season, so we now would like to lose it again. Believe me I know how hard it is. But I have tried every diet in the book over many years, and found a really good thing to go by and what I eat which keeps me full and prevents sweet cravings as I do have a bad sweet tooth. For breakfast I eat oatmeal with one tablespoon of brown sugar in it and 1/2 cup of blueberries, fresh or frozen, whatever the season might be. That really keeps me full and I am not hungry at all.
For lunch I usually eat a turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread or multigrain with lettuce, tomatoes, etc. which again fills you right up.
At around 2 p.m. I could eat something sweet, but in order not to give in, I keep some almonds at work and snack on those which fills you up and you will not give in to the sweet cravings.
Of course, I drink water all day as well which helps tremendously.
For dinner, I have some lean meats, or fish, chicken, whatever you like, (not too big though), veggies or salad and pasta, rice, potatoes, whatever you like.
And after dinner, nothing but water or a yogurt if you really need something.
This is more a lifestyle change and you really will feel great after just changing some things in your life.
As we are all human, I allow myself a sweet once a week, usually I have it on Saturdays and that makes up for everyting else and it works.
