Recipe: Nasi bayam keju
Ingredients:2 cloves garlic, finely sliced
1 tbs margarine or butter for frying
100 gr white rice, cleaned, washed
1 tbs chopped parsley
600 ml chicken stock
1 tsp salt and ground pepper or to taste
50 gr grated cheese
100 gr chopped bayam, lightly stir-fried with remaining margarine or butter
Method:
Fry garlic until aromatic. Add white rice, chopped parsley and pour in chicken stock.
Season with salt, pepper and grated cheese. Bring to the boil and continue cooking over low flame until tender and stock is absorbed.
Just before taking from flame, add bayam and mix well. Serve hot and garnish to your liking.
Makes 4 servings
