One apple a day keeps the doctor away

It's not only a saying, it is also very true and it also lowers your cholesterol. I have seen a study where people ate one apple a day over quite some time, their cholesterol levels went down by approx. 23%, even though they did not change anything else. So there is truth to this slogan.
