Recipe: Pancakes - the German way

If you want to make a different pancake as usual, you can try the 'German pancake'. The German pancake is much thinner then the 'American pancake'.

What you need:

- 1/2 cup Milk (125ml)
- 1 once Sugar (30g)
- 3 onces Flour (80g)
- 2 eggs
- a little bit of salt
and oil for the pan

Mix everything together with a hand mixer, the dough should be quite runny because you wanna make thin pancakes.

Get pan with the oil to heat up and get some of the dough into the pan and start preparing your pancakes. Move the pan such that the dough completely fills the bottom of the pan. Let it bake for about 1 minute and then turn it and let it bake for another 20 seconds.

# 1  Ellaberta Just fry some onions, some bacon bits and some slices of apples before you bake the dough. Then fold the pancake batter in the mixture. Now, you fry everything together and have a lovely filled pancake - dutch style.
You serve it either with cinnamon and sugar, or some honey!
