Remove dried nailpolish on the carpet with a razor

I spilled my nail polish on my carpet (the bottle fell down and the nail polish spread all over my carpet). Later, after the spill was dry, I used a razor and shaved the spill off the carpet.

Through this process a little bit of wool disappeared from the carpet, however, the end result was perfect. I did not see any spot after that, it was gone. Thank goodness!
