Right dosage for washing agents
When you dose your washing agent then regard which hardness grade your water has. Every washing agent package has a dosage list for the hardness grade of water - soft, normal, hard, very hard.It doesn't matter how dirty your laundry is, never take more washing agent than the list on the package tells you.
And you should only use water deioniser when you live in areas with hard water. Because every washing agent contains water deioniser. And if you use extra water deioniser then you have to use the dosage for soft water, because the extra water deioniser will make your water soft.
Here are some disadvantages if you use too much washing agent:
- it costs more money
- more washing agent --> more foam --> more water is needed to wash the foam out (it can double your water consumption)
- washing agent leavings on your clothes don't look nice and can be a reason for itchiness for allergic persons
And even though every washing machine has a button with 95°C, is this washing programme unnecessary. For hygienic clean clothes 65°C are enough.
