Some tips for spring cleaning

It's this time of year, spring - finally - so maybe it's time to spring clean a bit.

1. Take your plastic garbage cans outside and rinse them out. Let them dry upside down. Then sprinkle them with
some baking soda.
2. Wipe down your computer screen with a microfibre cloth, then do the same with the mouse pad. Also take some
wet wipes and clean the keyboard thoroughly. This might take a bit of time depending when you cleaned it last.
3. Clean your microwave, just cut a lemon in half, put in some water and in a bowl and microwave for 1 minute or
so, the left over stuck on food in your microwave loosens up and it is much easier to just wipe it down after. Then
you can put your cut up lemon into the garburator and will eliminate odd odours as well.
4. Instead of table cloths put some place mats, and then get some fresh flowers for the table. The mats are much
easier to keep clean.
5. Buy a few potted plants (pansies and daisies will be flowering soon) and tuck them into nicer pots.
6. Collect your throw rugs and put them outside, give them a good shake - then hang them over the clothes line.
They freshen up and smell great after.
