Recipe: Super Sauce for Spaghetti Bolognese

Soften half chopped onion and 3 chopped garlic cloves in olive oil. Add 500gm of minced beef and 500gm of minced pork - cook til browned. Add 1 can chopped tomatoes, teaspoon dried oregano, salt, pepper and either a glass of red wine or chicken stock (use a cube).

Cover and cook in the oven for at least 30mins on 180°C. (You can also cook it on the hob on the lowest heat possible). Serve with spaghetti and loads of grated parmesan.

TOP TIP - Turn this sauce into cottage pie by simply adding an OXO beef stock cube, topping it with mash, and finishing it off under the grill with grated cheese on top.
